Carolyn Almos

Carolyn is from Washington State and holds degrees in theater from Whitman Collage and California Institute of the Arts. Carolyn is also an actress and has worked as an actress at Bootleg Theater, Playwright's Arena, The Road Theatre Company, Frantic Redhead Productions and Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company (Dramalogue Award for performance). She is on the theater faculty at Loyola Marymount University and El Camino College. In addition to her solo writing, Carolyn writes with her three partners in Burglars of Hamm. With the Burglars, she is currently working on a commission for Center Theatre Group. Past Burglar shows include "Land of the Tigers" (Garland Award for Playwriting, Ovation Award nominee, World Premiere Play), "Focus Today" (Ovation Award nominee, World Premiere Musical)and "Resa Fantastiskt Mystisk" (Garland Award for Playwriting, NYFringe Award for Ensemble Performance).
