Finding a way in -
February 15th 2006 @ 7:08 pm General

When first considering this blog, I thought, hmmm, yet another form of procrastination. And then I found I wasn’t even procrastinating with it, I was avoiding it. After all, what the hell was I going to say? There were a couple of things that were obviously playwright blogger blogging opportunities happening in my life but I couldn’t find a way in. I had Blogger’s Block.

So I’m doing what I know to be true when I write in general. Be brave, take out the pen or the keyboard, and give up being brilliant. Give up being witty. Give up being so-so. Dare to suck.

Something good may come out of it. Something sucky may come out it. The only difference between here and my millions of black notebooks is that someone may read it before I die (and, being typed, it’s actually legible - that’s my hope, that after I die, if someone goes through my papers they’ll err on the side of my writing being better than it was because they won’t be able to decipher it.).

So if you’ve stumbled upon this - well you’re here, so you obviously were either directed or stumbling - I’m glad you’ve found your way in, as I guess I have, at this point.

Welcome to my blog.

Jennifer
